Facilities
The baseball facilities of Marietta High School are among some of the finest in the southeast. Highlighted by a first class field dedicated in the honor of Marietta alumni and Vietnam Veteran Capt. John “Jackie” Smallwood.
Adding to the first-class field is covered stadium seating and press box, brick dugouts, and full featured concessions.
In 2009 the latest addition to the facilities was a 4,500 square foot indoor batting and training facility. Made possible by the generous support of Marietta City Schools and the contributions of friends of the Blue Devil program, this state-of-the-art facility enables our players to practice even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. This lighted and heated training center contains two 70-foot netted batting tunnels, two 60-foot pitching lanes, and ample space for indoor workouts.
